Abraham Lincoln
(1861-1865)
He was a preserver of the union. He was a liberator (Emancipation Proclamation). He was the first Republican President.

Nelson Aldrich
He served as U.S. Representative (1879-1881) and Senator (1881-1911) from Rhode Island. He authored the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 signed by President Woodrow Wilson. The Federal Reserve System is the most brilliant public economic policy to date.

Dwight D. Eisenhower
(1953-1961)
He was Supreme Commander of Allied Forces in Europe during World War II. He supported Civil Rights and sent the troops to Little Rock, AR to enforce integration. He knew "history does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid."

Ronald Reagan
(1981-1989)
He stimulated economic growth through tax cuts. He advocated “peace through strength.” He knew to “trust but verify.”

George H. W. Bush
(1989-1993)
He opposed “aggression” and liberated Kuwait. He signed a significant civil rights act (Americans with Disabilities Act).

George W. Bush
(2001-2009)
He is a “compassionate conservative.” He began the war on terrorism after the horrific attacks of 9/11/01. He modified the national security doctrine of containment to safe haven doctrine to reflect a changing world.
